Our Neighbors Living in Poverty Need Your
Help!
As you begin setting up your event calendar
for the coming year, we know that many of you will be planning
spaghetti dinners, pancake breakfasts, bake sales, strawberry
festivals and the like. Why not cook for the Conference?
Schedule a new event or set aside a traditional one in April
of 2009. That way, we can use the proceeds to provide for
the food, shelter, and other needs of the 25,000 people
in Allentown and more across the region that live in poverty.
We’ll be happy to provide a speaker
beforehand to discuss the need with your congregation, school
or club.
We’ll be happy to publicize your event
in our print and electronic newsletters.
But most of all, the men, women and children
who depend on you for their daily bread will thank you from
the bottom of their hearts.
