Meet new staff

Greetings from the Lehigh County Conference of Churches!

I would like to take just a minute of your time to introduce myself.  I am The Rev. Michael E. Brown, new Ecumenical Director for the LCCC. I began this position in early July after thirty (30) years as a local church Pastor.  I am a Free Methodist Pastor having served churches in Indiana, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina and Wisconsin.  I am an Asbury College, Wilmore, Kentucky graduate and my M.Div is from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

I have been visiting churches in the last two weeks in an attempt to meet Pastors and to participate in the worship life of the Lehigh County Churches.  In the next few months I will be contacting you and asking for an opportunity to meet with you as I listen to how the Conferences of Churches can better serve you and  facilitate mission. I hope also to be able to share with you the exciting depth and breadth of the Conference of Churches’ ministry and advocacy in our community.

If I can be of service in interpreting the work, mission and vision of the Conference of churches in your congregation, please call.  I will be willing to preach in a worship service, share in a “mission message”, meet with your Mission or Outreach Committee or participate in programs that would help me understand your congregation and your congregation become engaged in mission in the Lehigh Valley.
